Exclusive Bonus Terms and Conditions
Before you claim an exclusive bonus code, we highly recommend you understand the terms and conditions.
Taking a few minutes to understand the terms will help you:
- Avoid accidentally invalidating your bonus.
- Ascertain the real value of a bonus.
- Help you effectively compare bonuses.
The truth is that the actual value of a casino bonus can only be calculated by scrutinizing the t&cs.
Here are the most important terms and conditions:
Wagering Requirements
Before you can withdraw your bonus winnings, you have to wager the value of your bonus a number of times. The amount of times you have to wager your bonus is stipulated by the bonus’ Wagering Requirements.
Casinos implement this rule to circumvent ‘bonus abuse.’ Wagering requirements discourage players whose only intention is to win real money from claiming a bonus. Casinos want to attract players who play because they genuinely enjoy casino games.
Essentially, the lower the wagering requirements, the more likely you will win real money using an exclusive casino bonus. This rule tends to work differently depending on the type of bonus you claim. We will illustrate how it works for each type of bonus using examples.
Here is an example of how to work out the wagering requirements when claiming an exclusive no deposit bonus:
Example
Brango Casino gives all players a $60 no deposit bonus subject to a 45x wagering requirement. This means you must stake an amount equivalent to 45x times your bonus to cash out your bonus winnings
Here’s how the wagering requirement is calculated:
$60 bonus x a 45x wagering requirement = You must wager $2700.
When you’ve wagered $2700 and completed the wagering requirement, the remaining funds your bonus balance are transferred to your cash balance. You can finally cash out your winnings!
Here is an example of how to work out the wagering requirements when claiming an exclusive no deposit free spins bonus:
Example
Raging Bull Casino welcomes new players with 120 Free Spins on Tarot Destiny. The Free Spins have a 30x wagering requirement.
In this example, let’s assume you claim these Free Spins and win $100. Now, you must wager $3000 to convert the Free Spins winnings to real money you can withdraw.
Here’s a calculation that puts this into perspective:
$100 winnings x a 30x wagering requirement = You must wager $3000.
Once you’ve played $3000, the funds in your bonus balance are converted to real money and moved to your cash balance. Now, you can finally withdraw your Free Spins winnings.
Here is an example of how to work out the wagering requirements when claiming an exclusive match deposit bonus, if the wagering requirements only apply to the value of the bonus:
Example
Punt Casino rewards all new customer with a $30 match bonus. This bonus is subject to a 40x wagering requirement. This means you must stake an amount equivalent to 40x times the bonus to cash out any winnings.
Let’s assume you deposit $20 and receive the bonus. Now, you need to play $1200 to turn the bonus funds into real cash you can withdraw.
Take a look at this calculation:
$30 bonus x a 40x wagering requirement = $1200 to wager.
Once you’ve bet $1200, any funds in your bonus balance is turned into to real money and moved to your cash balance. You can finally withdraw your bonus winnings!

Here is an example of how to work out the wagering requirements when claiming an exclusive match deposit bonus, if the wagering requirements apply to the value of the bonus, plus the value of the deposit:
Example
Brango Casino’s $200 match bonus is subject to a 40x wagering requirement. The wagering requirement applies to both the bonus and your qualifying deposit.
In other words, you must play an amount equivalent to 40x the value of your bonus and your deposit to withdraw your bonus winnings.
Let’s assume you deposit $20 and claim this bonus. Now, you must wager $8800 to convert the bonus funds to real money you can withdraw.
Have a look at this calculation:
- $20 deposit + $200 bonus = $220.
- $220 x a 40x wagering requirement = $8800 to wager.
So, when you’ve staked $8800, any funds left in your bonus balance will be converted to real money and transferred to your cash balance. Now, you can withdraw your bonus winnings!
Bet Limits
Bet limits determine the maximum you can place on a single bet. While free spins have a fixed bet limit, bonus credits allow you to alter the value of your bet. If you exceed the bet limit, your winnings will not contribute to the wagering requirements.
Casinos have implemented this rule to increase participation. Without a bet limit, players could wager the entirety of their bonus a number of times and, if lucky, fulfill the wagering requirements in quick time.
Max Cashout (Withdrawal Limit)
Withdrawal limits restrict how much you can withdraw as real money using a casino bonus. Deposit bonuses tend not to come with withdrawal limits. Whereas with no deposit bonuses the withdrawal limit can vary greatly, with most being between the value of £/$/€10-£/$/€200.
This bonus rule is in place to ensure that casinos do not incur significant losses by offering no deposit bonuses.
Eligible Games
All bonuses come with a list of excluded games. Attempting to wager your bonus on the excluded games may invalidate your bonus. While free spins are eligible on a single slot game, or multiple slot games, bonus credits tend to be eligible on multiple types of game.
Generally, you will find that games with a significantly high RTP, or a significantly high volatility, are made ineligible. Please ensure you claim a bonus that allows you to play games you enjoy.
Expiry Date
After a set period of time your bonus will expire. Once expired, you will have to make a deposit to continue playing. The expiry date tends to apply to both the bonus and the wagering requirements.
Please attempt to wager the full value of your bonus and fulfill the wagering requirements within the allotted time.
Game Weighting Percentage (Game Contribution)
If a game with high odds is made eligible – as is the case with most regular no deposit and deposit bonuses – it’s likely to have a lower ‘game contribution.’ Game contribution is used by online casinos to re-balance the likelihood that a player wins real money using a bonus.
For example, slots tend to contribute 100% to the wagering requirements. This means that every £/$/€10 you win on slots using your bonus, £/$/€10 will contribute to the wagering requirements.
Alternatively, table games with high odds, such as blackjack, may contribute as little as 4%. This means that every £/$/€10 you win on blackjack using your bonus, only £/$/€0.40 will contribute to the wagering requirements.
This is why we highly recommend you play slot games with online casino bonuses.
